Notes:
- Limited aid
- The aid station is at the Fosters Landing parking lot.
- Water and toilet facilities available
- Crews must park on east side of road. That's the same side of the road that the aid station is on -- the left side of the road as you come from Camp Roosevelt and the right side as you come from 211. Aid stations #7 and #12--Gap Creek/Jawbone I and II--will be located at the same point.
- Unmanned aid station (no crew access) at 45.8 miles where the course joins the Crisman Hollow Road.
- The Bird Knob Aid station will be at the locked gate where the road makes a hairpin turn at the top of the hill. This is the same place it has been for the last few years. There is no cutoff at Bird Knob, and you can't get a ride out from there unless you are seriously injured.
- 211E will not be an aid station. It's main purpose will be overflow parking and alternate crew access. There will be very light aid there. Crews may meet their runners there if they have not met them at the Picnic Area and pacers may join their runners there after 6 pm.
Other Important Points
- Crews may not assist runners outside an official, numbered aid station. See the crew instructions for more information.
- Pacers may join a runner at any aid station left after 6 PM. Pacers may only join their runners at an aid station that allows crew access. (You cannot meet a runner on the Crisman Hollow Road or at Bird Knob.)
- Be sure to review the special Rules for Route 211 Aid Stations.
