Paking
Parking at Bull Run Run is limited but we will be fine if everyone uses care and pays attention to signs and parking marshalls. Please cooperate.
Where to Park: Parking is available in a field to the right of Yates Ford Road before you enter Hemlock Overlook Regional Park. (See the wonderful map at right.) When you enter the parking area, you will think that you are going the wrong direction and creating a long walk for yourself. This is not true. The parking area bends around and you will not have a long walk. The further you drive into the parking area, the more it shortens your walk. Don't park near the main road unless you have to. The walk is shorter if you drive in further.
Mud: If it has rained heavily just before the event, there may be some mud in the parking area. For the most part this is not a problem, but remember that after the fun of running 50 miles is over, you may want to leave.
Do not drive past the point marked "Park Gate" on the map unless you are a race volunteer on official business.
Park Carefully: Park close, but not too close, to other cars. If you arrive early and the parking lot looks big, please remember that many other cars are coming. Don't waste space!
Thank you for your cooperation. Happy trails!
